Webinar Overview: On May 16th, it looked like we were turning the corner. The CDC lifted the mask mandate for vaccinated people and we saw a 10-week period of the re-opening of business including retail, B2B, industrial, etc. Brand ecommerce sites immediately saw a huge shift in online buying.
Unfortunately, the shift was short lived. The weekend of July 24th saw a flurry of announcements about the Delta variant, masking, and virus-spread. The following week, most brands’ website sales spiked as user behavior shifted back again.
The Fall and Holiday seasons are now back up in the air but this 10-week ‘vaccine’ honeymoon created a unique opportunity to get a glimpse at what post-pandemic, direct consumer website sales (D2C) will look like post-pandemic.
The Yeoman team conducted an extensive analysis of this time period analyzing over 50 million visits to top brand ecommerce sites compared to that corresponding time periods for the past 5 years. The result is some fascinating behavior shifts and may help brands better prepare for what’s ahead.
Topics include:
- Mobile growth and stumbles
- Shifts in the PPC landscape
- Declining influence of Home Page
- Top growth sources of new customers
- Five key trends brands should consider as they prepare for Q4 and beyond
The webinar is intended for multi-channel brands who have a direct selling site. General ecommerce and industry colleagues are invited to attend but space is limited.
